ARM is a fun architecture to play with, and it’d be nice to get a full-fledged ARM desktop, and only one is readily available where I live: Macs with Apple Silicon. So I bit the bullet and got myself an iMac M5. Also, who knows what prices will be like next year, so I got it fast.
